Hello Kpop Addicts?
It’s been a while since my last blog. Been out there jamming with friends and the least thing I do on the net is updating my nail art blog and spamming on Allkpop news.
Introducing another Kpop talented Rookie Girl Group, Glam! They’re making headlines too much for their comeback so when I checked them out, say, I was impressed. One of the girls breakdance on their debut MV “Party XXO”. This totally got me. The visuals and graphics are so amazing especally their blinged Glam name. They have powerful singing voice and rapping skills plus amazing dance moves. I see they can do big in the future.
Loen Entertainment’s introduction to Glam Girls
GLAM MUSIC refers to GLAM’s unique musical style in which they simultaneously offer vocal skills based on hip-hop as well as dance skills. GLAM is ready to show an unprecedented powerful performance with GLAM MUSIC that is free and full of energy combined with rap, song, and dance.
The members of GLAM were already hot in the k-pop scene before their debut with their spectacular career and dance skills. Lee Mi-So, who became known as Bang Shi-Hyuk’s mentee, captivated the hearts of people with a video clip of her singing in a rich soulful voice. The B-girl Zinni became popular for being the first girl group member to dance a head spin. Dahee was first made known with her voice in “Vocaloid” — a well-loved Japanese composition program. The members also include the leader Park Ji-Yeon, who is skilled in dance, song, and rap, and Trinity, who has a charming cat-like face. One should look forward to the energy released on stage by the 5 distinctive members of GLAM.

Glam’s Debut Live Performance
Wow, they can sing and dance! I was expecting maybe they’d lipsync like what most of the idols do during debut. Fantastic

After years of successfully promoting their music as a 9-member girl group, Girls Generation has finally followed the footsteps of their sunbaes, Super Junior. They now have a sub unit with 3 members comprising of Taeyon(leader), Tiffany and Seohyun(maknae). Three of the most members with powerful voices, but where is Jessica?. TaeTiSeo is named after the member’s first name syllable, TAEyon, TIffany, and SEOhyun. They all got powerful voices which is the asset of this group. Girls Generation is composed of Taeyon, Tiffany, Seohyun, Jessica, Sunny, Sooyoung, Hyoyeon, Yuri and Yoona. TaeTiSeo’s first single is “Twinkle”
S.M. Entertainment’s official press release regarding the group stated that the subunit’s intention was to “grab the attention of fans with all aspects of music, performance, and fashion styles. Also hinting at the possibility of future subunits containing other members, elaborating, “by changing the members of the unit according to the music and concept of each new subunit album.” – wikipedia
Personally I never thought that SM Entertainment would make a sub unit of Girls Generation. I mean, why do they have to when all of the members are obviously popular? They don’t need sub units. Other groups having sub units are Super Junior, After School, Rainbow, etc. I remember way back Tiffany’s comments on Suju’s having sub units compared to Girls Generation. She said Girls Generation are one and don’t need subgroups. lols. Click here if you wanna see it.TaeTiSeo “Twinkle English Subs MV

Fat Cat, B.A.P. and now, Nu est. My newest liked rookie boy group. Like I said, I don’t usually get excited for new boy/girl groups out there unless if they’re from YG Entertainment. When it comes to companies, I like YG Entertainment the most coz they treat their idols stars like a family and none of the idols has resigned from the groups unlike other companies (JYP, DSPmedia, & SME).
Why I love Nu’est? I love their song, it’s catchy and this time, it’s not about love. It signifies broken friendship. Kpop is sooo addicted on making all kinds of love songs; heartbreaks, goodbyes, have-a-secret-crush-on-you song, happy love songs, betrayal, etc. (the list goes on)
To elaborate more on what I mean, here’s an example on the current kpop songs:
*Ailee “Heaven” – Boyfriend she lost. (I think the guy died) She was able to move on with her life without him.
*F.T. Island “Severely” – Severe love to his girlfriend, even risking his life for her.
*2AM “I wonder If You Hurt Like Me” – the guy is heartbroken, hurting more than his ex-girlfriend
*Nine Muses “Ticket” – one way ticket to girl’s heart
*Miss A “Touch” – Touched by her love
*Dal Shabet “Hit U” – girl hates the guy and wants to hurt him like he hurt her
*BigBang “Blue” – blue love
Aside from idols having their comebacks, what thrills me most is the story of the song they’re going to sing. Which is why I love 2NE1, most of their songs implies girl power over guys! peace!
Nu’est got my attention when Kahi (afterschool) congratulated them on their debut. They are from 1993’s-1995’s, so young and so cute guys!
Check out Nu’est debut song “Face” and their debut live performances.

Hello Kpop Lovers!
I don’t get to watch Rated K on Sundays because it’s a family day and we’re usually out in the evening. Luckily, we didn’t go out that night so I was able to watch the show and I was gladly surprised that they’re featuring South Korea, it’s places, food,high-technology and artists. When they featured Kpop, I feel like belong to that country because I can totally relate in everything they say, all the Kpop group and events shown. I’d like to share this to everyone of you (not just Filipino kpop fans). There’s no site providing downloadables on local shows so I’m gonna translate everything Korina (host) said by seconds on the video. I’m gonna try my best so I hope you all like it ^_^
Rated K. A Magazine show broadcasted on ABS-CBN every Sunday. Features human interest stories and no-holds barred interviews with interesting personalities. Korina Sanchez once again showcases her specialty in news gathering and presentation as she goes to all places and spaces wherever there’s a story needs to be told. This hard-hitting broadcast journalist also sits down with various people from all walks of lives to hear their stories and views about anything under the sun. (source: Abs-cbn)

[So I’ll be basing the timeframe of my translations on the video above. ^_^ and only on the KPOP Part.]
@ 5:27 – Eventhough we don’t understand the lyrics, we’re still fond to the so-called “Korean Pop Music” or “K-pop”! When we came here in Korean, we tried to find out what’s really the charm of the hottest Kpop.
@ 5:53 – They are called K-pop stars in the field of music.
@ 6:00 – and they are Korean Superstars in dubbed Korean drama or also known as “Koreanovela” that got high ratings.
@ 6:15 – Youths are like acting insane screaming to their favorite Kpop stars that are now visiting often to hold a concert.
@ 6:28 – But do you know that their fame has reached not only Philippines but also around the world rt
@ 6:37 – In this book, “Korean Wave” tells the story of how they became famous starting from Philippines. They’re slowly becoming popular in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, China, Mongolia, and even in Iran, Australia, Latin America, Spain and Poland.
@ 7:05 – From Korea, it’s like they want to conquer the whole world.
@ 7:14 – Who wouldn’t know the song “Nobody” of Wonder Girls?
@ 7:22 – Meanwhile, a lot of Kpop groups in Korea are quickly getting their fame.
@ 7:30 – Just like the group, 4Minute which we were able to talk personally from their concert from other country.
@ 7:42 – 4minute: “Thank You!”, “We are 4minute!”
@7: 46 – Nam Jihyun: “I’m a bit surprised because it’s a new environment but in my experiences, I’ve learned a lot from these challenges”
@ 7:55 – Kim Hyuna: “I think, it’s a destiny that we’re grouped together. It’s not easy to form a group like this but everyone’s having fun because we’re like families”
@ 8:07 – Jiyoon: “The people from the Philippines are very warm, very sweet, friendly and we’ll do a lot of things if we can go back to the Philippines”.
@ 8:22 – Their fame has just started in the Philippines but 4Minute, all girl band here in Korea is one of the in demands and one of the popular.
@ 8:35 – Girl’s Generation is loved in Korea and after they gained the artist of the year in Korea a lot of times, they’re also now famous in Japan, Philippines and America. They also dreamed to be known in Europe.
@ 8:44 – And the group 2NE1
@ 9:04 – So do you know anyone from this group that looks familiar especially to the Filipinos?
@ 9:05 – You are not mistaken. She is now Dara or much known as Sandara Park.
@ 9 :18 – Here in Korea, Sandara Park is often taken as a product endorser in different brands. If you have noticed, Sandara’s face has changed a bit, she’s not anymore the baby we used to know in the Philippines. Now, she has became a women and is endorsing products for sophisticated women.
@ 9:40 – Sandara was first known as the winner of Star Circle Teen Quest
@ 9: 54 – This building in Gangnam, Seoul is often visited by Girl’s Generation and Super Junior during practice for their song and dance presentation for concerts.
@ 10:14 – In the Philippines, Super Junior is very famous, they just came from a concert in the Philippines but according to Koreans, they are not that active anymore that’s why newer groups surpassed their popularity.
@ 19:36 – Whoever we asked, the famous group of them all is 2PM.
@ 10:47 – Nickhun is known as the favorite member of the group here in Korea. When we asked them why, they answered because he’s the most handsome member of their group. Do you know that he’s a foreigner? He comes from Thailand.
@ 11:08 – From their number 1 song “Again and Again”, they garnered more awards from the music scene in Korea.
@ 11:23 – If there’s 2pm, there’s also 2am. In the philippines, 2am wowed the Filipino fans just like any other Kpop groups who visited the Philippines

Yay! I know this has been really late news but still I wanted to show everyone what Jay Park did while he was here in the Philippines. He performed “demon” during Showtime shown last September 30, 2010…
Jay Park is the former leader of 2Pm and he’s know before as Park Jaebum…^_^ (Used the name Jay Park when he went solo).
Fancam of Jay Park

Like what the title says, it’s definitely a NO to GP Basic’s adult-like-dance-inspired-by-Justin-Beiber.
This is a protest!
What the hell is wrong with the company releasing babies singing Britney’s “I’m a Slave for you…”??
(technically, that’ not what the girls of GP Basic sang,..but it’s more like it) They debuted with their album and song “GAME”. this makes me wanto to laugh. They still have lot of things yet to learn, to experience and to enjoy not working their asses off trying to get an impression from the music industry of Korea, especially to fans. (They should probably play GAMES instead) At their young age, their body’s already abused, you know what i mean? sleepless nights practicing to sing wearing KILLER HEELS??. They’re not even 18! and the average age of their member is 15! HSh*t.
Ok, so here’s their debut music video with the song “game”.
so what can you say?
The song, it’s auto tune but still catchy… i prefer “marry had a little lambs”
Their choreography? WOAH! They’re dancing like adults!, they even have that chest popping moves! and Janey (around 11-13 yrs. old) doesn’t even have them yet. No mountains and forests. XD
oh yeah, well, here’s the good part. though they’re still young, i kinda like them still because maybe they didn’t undergo any surgery or something, but yeah maybe they did (or so i thought). Because of this group, my interests to SNSD just increased. I’m just glad they didn’t do this thing when they debuted, they had that school girl image while GP Basic’s having that adult-image.. pity.
FYI: it’s not only me whose against this group’s debut image. Here are some more comments I found over at youtube.
Okay, like the song, but I’m going to rant now.
GP Basic girls, please don’t chest pop. I had enough with 4minute Hyuna and 2NE1 Minzy, and they’re not even legal yet.
They’re cool, but don’t you think Janey seem out of place with colorful clothes?
And what’s with the auto tune?? Although I like that kind of sound, but this is too much, oy! They shouldn’t use it for the whole song!
I’m done ranting. You can thumb down this comment if you don’t like it.
Thumb me down if you don’t like my comment.
arent they too young? at least Hyunah looked mature. well maybe they need more experience then we’ll see them in a different angle
i like their voice (they could still improve) and the choreography…but the popping and the thrusting…i just don’t think so….is that even legal…. and did i just hear her say “who wanna get f***ed up?” at the very beginning?
they should concentrate more on their studies…
and they are too young that they even don’t have the charisma of girls….
overall,they are too young…
Well, i’m not really that all anti to this group, it’s just that they should try at LEAST to promote a song that fits their age. Be like Orange caramel, all that girly and cutey image.. That way, they’ll probably get more supporters than haters. Boa is also young like them when she debuted but she sported the image right for her age^_^

Yay!. I’m back on Kim Hyun Joong updates after his successful concert with B2ST. Kim Hyun Joong appeared in various shows on GMA and had a few interviews while he was in Manila. I’m thankful that Kim Hyun Joong & B2st came here in the Philippines. I’m just into SS501 right now, and i’m soo happy to hear their leader coming here although I won’t be able to see him. The first thing he said when he arrived was that he love the fresh scent of the place. lols. So cute of him to say that^_^
Below are the videos about Kim Hyun Joong:
[Eng Subbed] Kim Hyun Joong in Manila Showbiz Central – 20.06.2010

Kim Hyun Joong & Beast Interview @ Star Talk TX [6/19/10]
K-pop Meets P-pop @ 24 Oras 062010
Now on my comments:
Among all the interviews he had, none of them said anything about him as playing one of the lead role in the famous drama “Boys Over Flowers”. In my opinion, he wouldn’t be that famous without that drama here, even though there are SS501 fans (Triple S). It’s just a sad fact that the hosts can’t say it live on air on how much the Filipinos loved his drama “Boys Over Flowers”. Even so, I hope they were able to tell Kim Hyun Joong about that off-cam. We are happy that another korean celebrity has visited the Philippines, so we are also looking forward not only to their interviews but also on how the hosts treated them. How the MC’s made them feel that they are really popular here in the Philippines. I just hate it when I hear them mentioning Kim Hyun Joong’s name in a disrespectul way (or so I think). They keep on calling him “Kim” which is his family name. And for me, it ain’t right. FYI, in Korea, saying the family name alone is very disrespectful, it should be the full name with Mr/Ms. or the Given name. It’s not only me who got annoyed by this fact, watch those vids on youtube and you’ll see a lot of fans hurt because of the hosts calling Kim Hyun Joong “Kim”. It’s not hard to pronounce “Hyun Joong” right?. For the Host’s mistake not to happen again, they should do a research and learn to respect. All of the interviews done by Kim Hyun Joong are from GMA by the way.
Just like ABS-CBN, when 4Minute performed in Wowowee, Mariel (the host of Wowowee), though having a hard time pronouncing their names did her best to say it in the right and respectful manner. So I say, GMA, do your research and learn from ABS-CBN
After School’s first subgroup composed of Lizzy, Nana and Raina finally debuted on Music bank with their song “Magic Girl”. These 3 girls were the last to join the Afterschool.
I’m happy that there’s a subgroup of Afterschool, it’s an oppurtunity for these girls to show more of their talent. I hope all groups would be like them, you know, showcasing more of the individual member’s singing and dancing talents. Just like 2ne1, they got a chance to have solo songs like Dara’s “Kiss” and Bom’s “You and I” also Minzy and leader cl’s “Please Don’t Go”. ^_^ The concept is awesome, kawaii, japanese inspired costumes for Orange Caramel.

On June 14th, boy band U-Kiss held a successful concert at the Araneta Coliseum in the Philippines. The concert was originally supposed to be held on May 29th but was postponed to June 14th. SS501’s Kim Hyun Joon was scheduled to be in attendance to support his brother Ki Bum, but he couldn’t make it due to SS501’s comeback obligations back in Korea.
This was their first concert and the boys seemed to be excited as they tweeted:
Our first concert was such a special day for us and I even cried tears of joy because I was so touched by everyone’s love~ ^^ THANK YOU~ ♥

U-KISS interview with Grace Lee – Philippines
A compilation of Wonder girls live performances for their song “2 Different Tears”. This is one of the reasons why I love kpop. Their stages & outfits only appear for about 4 minute and they never use it again. Kpop group performs 4 times a week in different stations (Mnet, KBS, MBC and SBS), every week there are around 20 performers. So in a span of 1 week, there’s 80 different stages & outfits. In a month there are 320 huge stages made. WOAH! so where are they keeping all those things?. Kpop is A-MAZING
I miss the wonder girls so much. ATM, they’re still promoting their songs in America & in Asia. Since they debuted in America, I notice that many fansites are closing probably because wonder girls are out in Korea which means less updates.

The Wonder Girls are back!
Yey! They’re officialy back with a new song entitled “2 different tears” and with new member Hye Lim. I miss Sun Mi and it’s so sad to see WG’s new mv without her. Anyways, life must go on!. Hye Lim, somehow reminds me of Sun mi, her voice is like the combination of sohee’s and sun mi’s. I like her though she got a lot of haters when she joined wg, she’s good in speaking english and chinese (her english is even more fluent that Yenny). During their english interviews, it’s always Yenny who speaks a lot, but the one who’s good in it is Hye Lim. They should put more spotlight on Lim, sinc she’s new.^_^.
I like their new song “2 different tears”, sounds almost the same with their “bad boy“ song. But I don’t like their MV, I don’t like the Alien spy concept thingy… I like their costume for their new song, it’s more colorful than in their nobody concept. My fave is Yenny’s costume, blue glitters that matches to her nails^_^. I hope they’re going to release more songs soon! I prefer 3 different songs in korean than 3 songs in different languages.
Can’t wait for their comeback!. Looking forward to their costumes especially the WIGS!!
Enjoy the video^_^
Album launch party
Our Favorite girl group, Wonder Girls had their first radio interview after releasing their song “2 different tears”. And they’re speaking in EnglisH!. Thanks GOOM for the interview! This is much easier than hearing the girls in korean and reading the english subs. Although they’re not that fluent yet in speaking english, they’re improving^_^.
Here’s the vid:
was a great interview, the girls talked about their most challenging
moments during their career, what they would be if they weren’t
singers, and most importantly, their new album ‘ 2 Different Tears! ‘ –
Other talking points included their favorite Shinee member, their new
concept, and what they enjoy about New York City.
Hello guys! I know, it’s kinda late but still I want to translate and share this to you.^_^. Goo Hye Sun was featured on Rated K (one of the shows in ABS-CBN Channel here in philippines) —Click the link for more info.
Korina, the host of the show, went to Korea to feature their culture and some successful Filipinos who have worked there.
Here’s the vid:
@ 0:04 – Same in our country, the stars/celebrities in Korea are also crazed by fans.
@ 0:10 – The cinemas are always full of people watching and we all know that the Superstars here in Korea are also Superstars in our place
@ 0:21 – Did you know that?. Rated K got a chance to have an exclusive, with the only flower surrounded by 4 handsome guys, F4, in the Hit TV Show “Boys over Flowers”
@ 0:34 – Now, let’s meet closer, the singer-actress, Goo Hye Sun in “Korina meets Jandi”
@ 0:43 – [Hye Sun is speaking “Mahal ko Kayo, Kapamilya” which means “I love you, my family”
———I’ll just go to the Interview part (Goo Hye Sun’s voice was dubbed in tagalog)————
@ 2:12 – [Hye Sun]Annyeong Haseyo! Ms. Goo. Thank you very much
@2:17 – Can I just call you “Jan Di”? Because you’re really known as “Jan Di” in the Philippines.
@2:22 – [Hye Sun] It’s fine with me. Ok.
@2:25 – Jan Di, did you know that you’re really famous in the Philippines because of Boys over Flowers?
@2:31 – [Hye Sun]I’ve heard about it, that it was shown in the Philippines. I didn’t expect that they’ll like our drama and I’m very happy about that news. Thank you so much for coming here.
@ 3:08 – Now that the Boys over Flowers is ending, are you still able to talk to F4? Do you have a favorite F4 like Jun Pyo? Are you really close with Jun Pyo? Are you still communicating?
@ 3:21 – [Hye Sun]Ah, I Still see everyone of them because I became close to them. Sometimes we call each other.
@ 3:33 – So what do you think of Jun Pyo? In the Philippines, they like the Love team
@ 3:40 – [Hye Sun]Really? Thank you!
@ 3:46 – So, are you close to JunPyo?
@ 3:49 – [Hye Sun]Compared to the 4 of them, Jun Pyo and I are closer because we often have a scene together so the longer it is, the closer we become
@ 4:25 – What is the comparison of the character “Jan Di” to the real “Ms. Goo”?
@ 4:36 – [Hye Sun]I’m also the same in real life. Just like her. Brave, if I know it’s right, I’ll fight for it. We’re also both smart and strong. They even said that I adopted Jandi’s character even though the program has ended. It’s just like me, still.
@ 5:04 – We also heard that you want to be a director, why do you want to be a director?
@ 5:06 -[Hye Sun] It has long been my dream to become a director. The more I stayed in this industry, the more I’m inspired by the directors on how they were able to create nice movies. I also think that I should try it so I was able to make an Independent Film
@ 5:29 – Do you have a boyfriend?
@ 5:31 -[Hye Sun] Nope, I don’t have any.
@ 5:36 – Why don’t you have a boyfriend?
@ 5:36 – [Hye Sun] Maybe, I got busy from a lot of work and I don’t have time for that. I have one before but if I’ll be lucky I’ll try this year. (laughs)
@ 6:03 – [Hye Sun] I don’t think of that matter (getting married) as of now especially that my parents won’t allow me because I’m too young for that.
credit me if taken out^_^

Here’s another sad love story brought to us by 2am^__^
I love the MV!, Although it’s kinda common to see a girl dying/sick with a lover hoping for her to be fine. But in these MV all 4 members of 2am are like ‘quarelling’ over this girl named “Sohyun”.
This is how i understand the MV but this is not the exact Storyline. (People have different understandings and here’s mine.)
Sohyun went to the same class with changmin, seulong, jo kwon and Jinwoon. ALl of them are like childhood friends. Each of the boys fell in love with the girls not knowing that she’s sick that’s why she’s too friendly to all of them. In the first MV, you can see them fighting over the girl.:/. When they knew about the girl’s sickness, all of them changed, the boys relationship with one another gets stronger and closer.. Jinwoon is a basketball player, Jo Kwon is a DJ and Changmin is in the ice hockey team. (i don’t know what’s seulong’s career). actually, i don’t understand the meaning of the scenes towards the end of the 2nd mv, it’s like they went out of the team and went back again….and that’s all!. Watch the MV, you’ll surely understand more.^__^
Here’s After School’s latest song bang!. ok, i’m not into the song yet (my rate: 75/100). I gotta listen to it a couple of times before I’m gonna like it. I just love their concept for this song; girl drummers. All of them are so cute and sexy!! I’m excited to see their comeback stage performance for their costume. (I wonder what the color maybe?). Costumes/concepts are always what I’m after in every new song an artist reveals. So check out the MV with eng subs and enjoy!
Photos of Afterschool for their Bang! song
While I was reading the latest news on ALLKPOP, I was a bit surprised to see the Idols I was once crazy about before.
It’s Fahrenheit!(Fei Lun Hai), I haven’t heard much of them lately, my addiction to them stopped the moment I knew Wonder girls, and that was like a year ago.^__^. Well, I still like Fahrenheit until now, they haven’t changed much from the MV. I just read around the internet that there’s already a girl group here in the philippines that has debuted. I searched for their identity and found an article about them. Please read this first to know them better.
Philippine pop music goes through a refreshing rebirth with the emergence of the newest girl group of five teenage scene with compelling charm, striking style and total talent.
Aptly, christened Pop Girls, the group is an outcome of the collaboration of two of the most influential names in the music industry-recording magnate Boss Vic del Rosario who was responsible for creating the biggest multimedia stars of the country such as Sharon Cuneta, Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid, Sarah Geronimo, among others; and topnotch dancer/choreographer Geleen Eugenio who honed the dancing skills of celebrities like Vilma Santos, Nora Aunor and brought Universal Motion Dancers to the peak of the their career.
Seeing the young as consistently plausible target, Boss Vic challenges Geleen to form a group of appealing young girls who are all exceptional in singing and dancing. Though she was set to leave for the US then, Geleen decided to forgo her initial plan to accept the project and called for an audition.
There were more than fifty hopefuls but only five passed the rigid screening. But the final decision came about when Boss Vic actually saw the chosen girls perform. He was swyaed right away with each of the girls that they were immediately awarded both management and recording contracts.
The fabulous five who make up POP GIRLS are twins Lai and Mar, both aged 16 and half Lebanese; Half Filipino, half Dutch Rose, 13 years old; Half Filipino, half Swiss Schai, 14 years old; the only pure Filipino in the group.
Though coming from various lineages, the girls perfectly jive together to form a melodic clique that is POP GIRLS. This impression is also very much in tune with the album the girls are now working on. Boss Vic has gathered renowed international producers Christian de Walden and Marcus Davis, along with local producer Civ Fontanilla, to pitch in their expertise to create one world class debut album.
The debut album echoes the sound that is distinctly POP GIRLS– youthful, sweet, light, infections… with catchy beat that would make everyone groove and uncomplicated lyrics that would make everyone sing along. The songs mirror the colorful life of the young with themes such as puppy love, shopping, dancing, and basically having fun!
Now nearing its final stage of completion, the album is composed of 13 tracks, mostly original ones such as Crazy For You, and upbeat song by Marcus and Amber Davis and Crushy, written by Geleen Eugenio herself. Also included are covers of hits such as Urong-Sulong and Kapag Tumibok Ang Puso.
POP GIRLS indeed is the new face of music and sound of Philippine Pop Music. The teenage group is undoubtedly at par,
or even better than the rest of the Asian groups which continue to invaded the music scene today. POP GIRLS seals the country’s rightful claim to P-POP as the new nickname for Philippine Pop Music to reflect the youthful flair of the group and the music, very much in the tradition of Korea’s K-Pop and Japan’s J-POP.
And as for LAi, Mar, Rose, Schai, and Nadine, these girls now become the new wholesome and well- educated trendsetters of the youth in the country, not only in terms of song, dance, and music but in personality and lifestyle as well.
Here is their first ever Music Video:
ok. Their video is funny. Really shows the filipino culture. It received praises from filipinos as well as negative feedbacks from filipino k-pop lovers. If you’re a k-po (korean pop) addict, you would surely understand what I’m trying to say. Just by watching the video, I can see that they’re trying to somewhat portray korean music and turn it into filipino-pop. Comment says that their music videois a copycat of 2ne1 & wonder girls. (Honestly, there were some parts that look the same with wonder girls and 2ne1’s music video).
In my opinion, i find the girls talented, bubbly, cheerful, girly and have a nice voice. They’re also very pretty although around three of them almost looks the same. But then, they lack rhythm in their choreography. Everybody can dance but not everybody dances together so it’s a dissapointment to some filipino k-pop fans expecting so much from them.
I would like to support these girls but they have to improve first in their choreography. Also, I wish they’ll perform without lip synching coz it’s not really good to watch. Seeing them performing and commiting many mistakes plus lipsynching.
btw, i really like their song ‘crazy crazy’. it’s catchy^__^
Their live performances of “Crazy crazy”
Their live performance of “Crushy Crushy”
2pm together with Yoon Eun Hye collaborated on making a music drama entitled “tik tok”.
Here’s a vid on the song + English Subs
2 Music Drama
Here’s the summary:
Yoonhe is another manager who likes khun. Boram from T-Ara is over-obssessed fan girl. For some reason, every girl that Khun went out with has gotten into accident. So detective Taec thinks that Boram is the suspect…
Spoil Alert!!! Drag your mouse to read
Eunhe gives Taeyeon pictures of Boram saying this is the person who stalks Nichkhun and said to Taec that she can’t let these things happen anymore. Then Khun gets in a fight at the club so his agency tells him to leave the country for some time until the media becomes quiet. Eunhye leaves along with Khun. On the other hand, cops catches Boram..thinking they’ve solve the case. Taec comes to the airport to say goodbye to Eunhye; then right after he said good bye, he gets a call from Wooyung saying they’ve got it all wrong, the suspect was actually left-handed Taec’s memory flashes back. Eunhye was left-handed so he goes back to her apartment, and end up finding a wall filled with pictures of Khun and his past girlfriends.
Eun Hye (on the plane): “You are mine.”
Storyline on the video: (These are just roughly my understandings on both videos released)
@0:16 – Nichkhun is filming a Cass beer CF and Eun Hye is watching at the back together with Junsu.
@0:45 – as a manager, Eun Hye is checking on Nich’s outfit.
@1:01 – the Chair broke when the girl sit on it. The girl got hurt so she was taken to somewhere to receive treatment. (Eun hye kinda stared at her saying “that’s right for you”)
@1:17 – Taecyon is chasing a bad guy. Taec is like a cop/detective. (Hot part!!!)
@2:18 – Junsu is talking about a girl stalker (Boram from T-ara). Stalking Nichkhun for 3 years already. Eun Hye’s expression changed upon seeing the girl. She’s like mad.
@2:30 – Boram Smirked!! lols.
@2:50 – Eun Hye saw one of Nich Khun’s girl. (For me, this is the time where Eun Hye’s taking note of the girl).
@3:19 – At the headquarters, Taecyon is investigating the suspect through asking questions. This was the guy taec caught a while ago.
@3:20 – The suspect didn’t respond to Taec’s question so Taec got mad and threw the papers which awoken Wooyoung, who’s sleeping on his chair. Wooyoung slid down from his chair. (I find this scene a little bit funny – lols at wooyoung!)
@4:03 – The girl whom Eun Hye spotted the other night got into car accident. Junsu, Nich’s Manager, got mad at the situation.
@4:16 – There was another note given stating: I love you, you are mine. This time Eun Hye looked at Nich.
@5:20 – Taecyon is the persong assigned to investigate the case regarding the girls connected to Nich who always got into accidents. This is the first time Taec meet Eun Hye for investigating on the case.
As the time goes by Taec develops a feeling of liking Eun Hye.^__^
@0:26 – Boram, the obsess stalker hit the girl who went up on stage to hug Nichkhun. When taecyon saw her, she stopped and ran away.
@1:04 – Eun Hye is giving the photos of Boram (stalker), telling to Taec that she’s the suspect.
@1:38 – I really don’t understand what happened on Eun Hye in the elevator with the shorter person.
Just go on the video and you’ll surely understand the events.^__^
@5:44 – Taec was in Eun Hye’s room. There were lots of Nickhun’s photos.
@5:48 – Eun Hye meant to get Boram out of Nich’s sight. Boram is a stalker that annoys Eun Hye. Eun Hye is the real suspect not boram because she’s left handed and there were some flashbacks telling that Eun Hye’s a left handed girl. Like how she holds the glass and pass the photos.
@6:11 – Eun Hye said: “You’re mine” then, Nichkhun suddenly wake up. It’s the phrase written on the notes Nichkhun has been receiving everytime something bad happens to one of his girl friend.
