Introducing New KP-pop Quartet Group, Pointen!

New KP-pop Quartet Group, Pointen!

Pointen

This newsbit has probably been long overdue, regardless however, here it is! There is currently a new all-girl pop group catching a lot of attention. They are particularly interesting for sporting a unique member system – the quartet pop-group consists of members of both Filipino and Korean nationalities. With Filipino members: Sharien (main vocalist) and Vicc (rap and vocals) Korean members: Garyn (vocals) and Yuju (leader) these girls have deemed their music as KP-pop or Korean Philippine Pop.

Pointen, derived from “Ten Points”, basically implies perfection. The group was formed by Macrolite Corporation’s (a Korean trading company established in the Philippines) General Manager Channelle Kim. Having just recently performed in ASAP XV last October 24, they are certainly making a splash in the Philippine Pop Industry.

My Review:

Well, that’s why I didn’t recognize these girls when they performed on ASAP XV. I was even surprise where they are from since I’m a KPOP lover and there’s nowhere I have heard or seen the name “pointen”.  So this could be a good start for korean-philippines pop music industry. I just wish *crossfingers* that they will be a success this time. There are P-pop groups existing already which I think is  a total failure compared to Kpop. (Pop Girls and XLR8). They CAN’T really sing and dance at the same time. I wish good luck to Pointen!
